OLYMPIA, Wash., March 2— Many streets and roads in western Washington looked almost as good as new today, two days after enduring the worst earthquake to hit the Pacific Northwest in half a century. But the State Capitol buildings here remained closed, traffic to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport was still stymied, landslides were still a threat and the damage from the quake, estimated at $2 billion, is likely to have lasting effects, state and federal officials said today...
