Oct. 28 1:04 p.m. PDT UPDATE. A magnitude 7.7 earthquake has occurred offshore in the Haida Gwaii Region at 8:04 pm PDT on Saturday Oct. 27, and has been followed by numerous aftershocks. The strongest aftershock so far occurred at 11:54 am PDT on Sunday Oct 28 and had a magnitude 6.3 Mw.
